We are a privately owned American solar company that designs, manufactures and distributes the unique set of Solargoose®  products and custom solar powered LED devices, based out of Kennett Square, PA. (not far from Philadelphia).

Our family’s affiliation with Portable Lighting began in 1932 with our father and grandfather who worked together to bring the first portable lighting to night baseball games, ice skating and road shows during the Great Depression. They utilized the best technology available at the time to bring lighting to the people of rural America, Canada, and the Caribbean. Soon a family followed and our mother joined the business along with the entire family including grandchildren. Today, over 77 years later we are utilizing the latest technology available to bring you Solar Goose™ products.

1. What is the warranty on the products? Our products have a 90 days warranty.
2. How durable are they? Our lights are very durable and will withstand cold/heat. The solar panels have a 20 year shelf life, the LED will last over 70 years if used 4 hours per day, and the rechargeable batteries over 1,000 recharges!
3. Are the lights water proof? Our lights are water resistant, but do not dive with them!
4. If we have a problem with a light, how do we return them? Call customer service at (877) 370-9110 and we’ll be happy to issue a refund or to replace your item.
